Type F Camlock to Water Tank Adapter Kit

This kit consists of a camlock Type F with a matching size nut and washer.

Camlock fittings—also called cam-and-groove couplings—provide a fast, tool-free way to connect and disconnect hoses or pipes in fluid transfer systems. Each coupling consists of two components: a grooved male adapter and a female coupler with spring-loaded cam arms. Pull the arms back to insert the adapter into the groove-ring, then release them to lock securely in place.

Type F Camlocks feature a BSP male thread whose nominal size matches the camlock size (e.g. a 1" camlock has a 1" BSP thread). This ensures seamless compatibility when threading into any female-threaded port.

Key advantages include rapid assembly and teardown—ideal for applications requiring frequent line changes—and a tight, leak-proof seal that preserves fluid integrity and prevents spills or contamination.

Our Type F kits are available in sizes from 1/2" to 2". Each kit includes:

• 1 × PP Type F Camlock fitting (male groove end with BSP male thread)
• 1 × matching back nut
• 1 × sealing washer

The back nut and washer allow direct threading onto any water tank or similar vessel, providing a secure, pressure-resistant connection. The washer guarantees a watertight seal, while the polypropylene construction offers excellent chemical resistance and long-term durability. Always confirm polypropylene compatibility with your intended fluid and temperature conditions.
