This kit includes a polypropylene Type C Camlock coupler and a matching-size Type E Camlock adapter, available in nominal sizes from 1/2" to 4". Both fittings share the same camlock dimension, ensuring the groove-ring on the Type E adapter locks perfectly into the cam arms of the Type C coupler.
The Type C coupler features a female cam-and-groove connection on one end and a hose-barb tail on the other, allowing you to push flexible hose onto the shank and secure it with a clamp. The Type E adapter provides the complementary male cam-and-groove groove-ring plus its own hose-barb tail. Together, they let you join two lengths of hose—or link a hose to any camlock-equipped system—in a single, tool-free operation.
To use, slide a hose onto the Type C barb and clamp it, then do the same on the Type E barb. Pull back the spring-loaded cam arms on the Type C coupler, insert the Type E groove-ring, and release the arms to lock in place. This creates a reliable, leak-proof seal, ideal for extending runs, coupling between different hose segments, or tapping into camlock-equipped tanks and pumps.
