50m Costwise Flexible 1/2" Soaker Hose
This Costwise flexible 1/2" Soaker Hose offers an adaptable and eco-friendly way to water your plants and soil efficiently. Made from 100% recycled, high-quality rubber, this porous hose is both flexible and durable, ensuring long-lasting performance. Its resistance to UV and algae helps maintain its reliability and extends its lifespan, making it a smart option for sustainable irrigation in a range of environments.
By using up to 70% less water than traditional irrigation methods, this soaker hose not only helps the environment but also cuts costs. Its design features thousands of tiny holes along its length, allowing water to seep out gently and steadily right to the roots where it’s most needed.
Perfect for agriculture, landscaping, and horticulture, the hose can be used above ground or buried up to 20cm deep. Whether you’re watering crops, lawns, gardens, or even indoor plants in a greenhouse, it delivers precise and efficient watering to promote healthy plant growth while reducing water wastage.
For added flexibility, the hose can be trimmed to suit the specific requirements of your garden or landscape. With a water efficiency of 0.76 to 1.26 litres per minute per metre at a pressure of 0.7 BAR, you can adjust the watering intensity to match your plants’ needs.
Please note that this soaker hose is not designed for use with potable water and should not be used for hot water irrigation. These precautions help ensure the safety and effectiveness of the system for optimal plant health and water conservation.
This porous pipe is available in a 50-metre length, with other lengths sold separately. A full range of porous pipes, from 7.5m to 200m, is available on our website.
It is important to note that this hose is not intended for use as a continuous length since it is a leaking soaker hose. Increasing the water pressure will not push water further along the hose; rather, it will cause more water to be discharged closer to the supply. In most cases, anything beyond 30m is unlikely to receive adequate water. The pipe is designed to be cut into shorter lengths for custom irrigation systems.
